Squarespace Website
created for you
If images, text and shapes are to define your website, Squarespace provides a strong design foundation. Portfolios, personal brands, services and editorial content can all be presented to a high standard. We plan the structure and design so that the website feels calm and clear on every device.
Visually strong, clearly organised
Squarespace combines design templates, galleries, a blog and forms in a hosted platform. Fluid Engine allows content to be arranged freely within a grid. We use your content to establish which options suit your project and where the limits lie. An elegant template alone does not make a good website; the right structure remains essential.

Which projects is Squarespace suitable for?
Squarespace is particularly suited to websites where visual impact comes first. A portfolio thrives on generous image layouts and understated typography. A personal brand needs a clear stance and a recognisable design. A compact online store can also form part of the website if the product range and purchasing process remain manageable. For extensive sales processes or bespoke specialist features, we assess together whether another system would be a better fit.

Fluid Engine: arrange content freely within a grid
02 / Squarespace
Fluid Engine lets you position images, text, buttons and galleries freely within a grid. The demo shows a simplified design canvas: select a block and move it using clearly marked arrows. On smartphones, we deliberately avoid an unreliable free-drag function; the arrows work on every device and with a keyboard.
The freedom of the grid is useful as long as the layout remains orderly. A layout that looks elegant on a large screen can become cramped on smaller devices. That is why we check every design with short and long content and across all device widths. The demo does not replicate the actual interface; it shows the basic principle of arranging content without accessing a Squarespace account.

Gallery and portfolio in four views
03 / Squarespace
The same image collection can create very different impressions. The demo switches between a grid, a large-image sequence, a magazine view and a project view. All images are neutral, generated design examples and explicitly not client projects. When you switch views, the collection stays the same; only the presentation changes.
Together, we decide which view suits your portfolio. A grid shows many pieces of work at a glance, while a large-image sequence gives individual images room to breathe. Image sizes, loading times and descriptive alternative text are also part of the planning. The demo does not upload any real images or change any published gallery.
Build forms to suit your needs
04 / Squarespace
A good form only asks for what is genuinely needed. In the demo, you build a form using a name field, email field, selection field, message field and a conditional follow-up question. A preview of the finished form appears on the right. The conditional question only appears when triggered by the selection, keeping the form short and easy to understand.
During the actual setup, we clarify where submissions go, how they are stored and which services are connected. Submission, storage and notifications need to be configured and tested appropriately. The demo sends nothing and stores no entries; it only shows the structure and logic of a form.
Plan your blog and content
05 / Squarespace
Regular content needs a clear workflow. The demo shows blog management with draft, scheduled and published statuses. Clicking Schedule moves a demo post onto a timeline. This shows how editorial work and publishing fit together.
In practice, we define who writes, reviews and approves posts. Categories, titles and publication times are planned rather than decided on the spot. The demo does not actually publish anything; the post remains a local example, and no content leaves your browser.
An honest approach to multilingual planning
06 / Squarespace
Squarespace generally offers two routes for multilingual websites: an external translation integration or manually built language sections. The demo provides an interactive language view showing which content changes when you switch languages. Both routes have limitations: support for scope, addresses, system text and sales features can vary depending on the solution.
Before implementation, we clarify which languages you actually need and which content will be fully translated. A language switcher alone does not create a complete multilingual website. Navigation, forms, legal text and search engine information must be correct in every language. The demo's language selection changes neither the language of this website nor any saved settings.
Site structure and discoverability go hand in hand: SEO search engine optimization and GEO optimisation help put things into perspective.
A design system instead of isolated decisions
07 / Squarespace
Font pairings, colour palettes, image formats, spacing and button styles are managed centrally in Squarespace. The demo changes these rules together, and the entire preview follows consistently. This keeps the website consistent, even when new pages are added later.
We define the design system at the outset and tailor it to your content. Font sizes, contrast and image formats are checked using real text and images. The demo deliberately simplifies the actual settings available and does not promise that every template offers exactly the same rules.
Carefully weigh up benefits and limitations
What the platform can support
- High-quality visual design and elegant templates
- Clear content management with galleries and portfolios
- Integrated forms and blog features
- Hosting within the platform
What we check first
- Bespoke features are more limited than in a custom application
- Multilingual functionality needs appropriate planning
- Some features depend on the plan; extensions may incur additional costs
- Switching platforms later requires preparation
A platform with strong design capabilities makes it easier to create high-quality websites. Even so, content, multilingual support and potential extensions need to suit your plans. We assess the entire planned website, not just the initial template.
Plans, available features and external translation solutions are clarified separately before implementation. Any later platform migration is planned around the content, images and structure; we cannot promise that all tasks will be handled automatically.

Arrange the introduction and handover
The handover explains how to maintain images, text and posts.
Existing content and images are reviewed before a rebuild. For the technical setup of your web address and email, we consider Domain Support and Business email. Responsibilities for design and technical setup are clearly assigned so that future changes can be planned.
An existing website needs the right next step
If you already have a Squarespace website, it is worth starting with an objective review of its structure, imagery and contact process. The Website analysis helps put things into perspective; a Website improvement focuses on agreed changes. Content, design and technical decisions are not optimised independently.
A clear introduction is particularly important when galleries, posts or forms are maintained regularly. The Website training can support the planned maintenance. For discoverability, we consider SEO search engine optimization and GEO optimisation without guaranteeing rankings or results.
Frequently asked questions about Squarespace websites
Who is Squarespace particularly suitable for?
For websites where imagery and design take centre stage: portfolios, photography, creative professions, personal brands and services. Blogs and compact sales solutions are also possible. We assess whether the platform is a good fit based on your content.
Can I replace my images myself?
Yes, the designated galleries and image sections can be prepared for you to maintain yourself. During the introduction, we explain which formats and sizes make sense so that the design stays intact.
Is an online shop possible?
A compact online store can be part of a Squarespace website. The product range, payments and operational processes are planned separately. Our Build an online store service is available for overall shop planning.
How does multilingual functionality work?
Generally, through an external translation integration or manually built language sections. Both routes have limitations in terms of scope, addresses, system text and sales. We clarify in advance which solution suits the scale of your project.
Can I blog?
Yes, blog features are part of the platform. We set up suitable categories, post templates and an editorial workflow, and explain how to maintain them during the introduction.
What happens to my domain and email?
Your domain, DNS and email are checked and connected separately. Existing email mailboxes remain unchanged. We handle the technical connection together with you.
Am I tied to the platform?
Content can generally be transferred, but switching requires preparation. Page structure, images and features are considered individually when moving later. We document the setup so that the reasoning behind decisions remains clear.
What ongoing costs are involved?
The platform plan and any extensions are assessed for each project. We do not quote fixed platform prices because terms may change. Before implementation, you receive a clear overview of the planned commitments.
